Inglot Under Eye Concealer.
I recently bought the Inglot Under Eye Concealer as my favourite NYX HD concealer is always out of stock in my local department store. I had been trying a lot of cruelty free, affordable concealers but none of them had good coverage and were light enough to give me a highlight. I hadn’t heard anything about the Inglot Under Eye Concealer but since I love most Inglot products I had very high hopes for it.
This concealer is good, I just don’t think its up to high end standard at all and really is not worth the price. After I used it I went straight away to check if the NYX HD concealer was back in stock in my local store, which is crazy considering its almost €10 cheaper!
So I’ll start with the positives. The coverage is quite good, it did a reasonable job of covering up my under eye circles. I didn’t notice any major creasing under my eyes (when set with powder). If you’re using a damp blending sponge it blends out beautifully but if you’re using your finger or a brush, it is a nightmare to blend in. It can be very streaky and does not set on the skin due to its watery consistency.
I bought the lightest shade – 91. For me, this wasn’t light enough, but I do have very fair skin. Overall I was really disappointed with this concealer, at €16 I would expect a lot more.
Although it is an under eye concealer it has no highlighting qualities so I think the only use I’m going to get out of this is concealing my under eyes on very natural makeup days or to cover blemishes. Definitely wont be repurchasing.
I have dry skin so remember what doesn’t work on my skin type may be amazing on another skin type.
